Choosing Sisterlocks®, Brotherlocks®, Microlocs, or Interlocks is a meaningful investment in yourself. Your initial establishment cost will vary depending on your hair’s unique needs. After installation, ongoing re-tightening sessions—every 4 to 8 weeks—keep your locs healthy, strong, and thriving.

Your experience begins with a one-on-one consultation designed to understand you—your hair history, your lifestyle, and your vision for your locs.
During this session, your consultant will:
Listen closely to your hair journey and goals
Share expert guidance on caring for Sisterlocks®, Brotherlocks®, Interlocks, or Microlocs
Explain shampooing routines, the settling-in phase, product recommendations, and re-tightening expectations
Place test locks, when needed, to ensure we choose the perfect pattern and size for your unique texture

This is the moment your journey truly begins. With patience and precision, your consultant will establish your Sisterlocks®, Brotherlocks®, Interlocks, or Microlocs in a peaceful, supportive environment.
Installations may take up to three days, depending on your hair
Your locs are tailored specifically to you—no two crowns are treated the same
We move with intention, professionalism, and the gentle reassurance you deserve

Four weeks after your installation, you’ll return for your first re-tightening and check-in session.
During this visit, we:
Make sure your locs are settling and forming beautifully
Address early questions or concerns
Set a rhythm for your ongoing maintenance
Spend 2–5 hours reinforcing a healthy foundation for your crown
This appointment ensures your journey starts strong.

We recommend that you schedule your first few re-tightening visits at 4-6 week intervals. This way the progress of your locks can be easily monitored. As your locks mature, your Consultant will be able to determine how often you will need to come in for re-tightening on a regular basis. The average time between visits is 4-8 weeks, depending on the hair type and rate of growth.
